Special Class October 15th
Last Friday, October 15th. the students of Proficiency delivered some very interesting Special Class about different topics they chose.
Mariano De los Heros and Mariano Galizzia Alfano talked about Renewable Sources of Energy; Joaquín Ceballos and Carolina Guerra chose a more artistic topic: How artists like Picasso and Xul Solar broke with the structure of Leonardo Da Vinci.
A group of four boys: Franco Soracco, Alessandro Taccani, Joaquín Albuernez and Federico Giaccaglia took us all through the History of Football and Juan Pablo Solveyra explained how a rap artist - Tupac - influenced the black community in the United States.
Later on, Ayelén Díaz, Ana Etcheverry and Corina Posse gave a talk on the life of Salvador Dali, his wife and muse, Gala and surrealism.
Another group of girls: Florencia Savoca Truzzo, Valeria Lubnicki and Pilar Almirón chose the topic of Women in History: Lady Diana Spencer, Amelia Earhart, Frida Kahlo, Mother Teresa and Marie Curie. Finally, Analía Guerra and Jerico Oliva talked about the Hippie Movement in The 60s.
All in all, an awesome display of attractive and thought-provoking topics. GOOD FOR YOU, KIDS!!!
