A Midsummer Night´s Dream
Going to the theatre
Last Friday, August 28th. we went to the theatre to see Shakespeare's, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" It was a fun afternoon shared among the students of CAE, Senior II and III. It was an original adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy, with attractive setting and catchy songs. The kids liked it a lot and said they could follow the story very well as the actors - who belong to the Stage Company - spoke clearly and their English was very good.
It's always a great idea to make students go to the theatre and enjoy both classic pieces and more modern plays, so that they can decide for themselves which forms of art they prefer, as well as practising the language from another perspective.

It was really great, very well performed and very funny as well since there was a character who spoke Spanglish. This made students laugh so much!
Miss Monique
It was a wonderful and enlightening experience. My students loved it. The play was funny and entertaining at the same time.
